Pastor Joe has been with us since September 2012. Joe originally came to minister to families of HBC and the Billings community as Pastor of Family Discipleship. On February 23rd, 2014 HBC called Pastor Joe to serve as lead pastor. Prior to joining HBC, Joe served in the US Army. His assignments took him around the world a few times, including a couple tours in the Middle East. Both he and his wife Jennifer are from Valparaiso, Indiana. Joe and Jennifer have three children: Isaac, Eden, and Simon. The Dillabaugh family loves to be outside enjoying the beautiful scenery Montana provides. They love to hike, bike, camp, and explore. They especially love to visit nearby Yellowstone National Park.

Derek grew up in Billings, Montana and has a love for this community. He was raised in a Christ-centered home and was saved by God in his young adult years. He spent three years in Bozeman at Montana State (Go Cats!) and finished his final year of college at MSU-B, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music. He loves to play and listen to music of all kinds with his wife, Ashley, who is also a musician. Derek felt the Lord's call to ministry when he was in college, and he has been serving God wherever He would place him since then. He was ordained as a minister of the gospel and called as Associate Pastor of HBC in May 2024. He holds a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Derek and Ashley love spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and enjoying time with family.
